- The 5Xe travel case is handcrafted from fine graphite composite making it incredibly light. We close each end with a machined aluminum cap before delivering it to you; we complete every rod tube with a highly polished lacquer finish, exactly like the rods. Before placing your new rod in the tube, each section is carefully inserted into a rich, burgundy storage bag to keep it safe during your travels. This is unquestionably the most beautiful travel case a fly rod will ever be protected in.
