Wright & McGill guarantees the original rod and reel owner with a Limited One-Year Warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. If you experience a problem within one year of the original purchase date, simply return the rod or reel to us and we will replace it. Please be sure you save your receipt, as it will be required to verify the original purchase date if you need to return the item. This warranty does not cover damage to the rod or reel due to improper care, misuse or wear and tear caused by use under normal conditions. Your new rod or reel is designed to give you years of enjoyment on the water as long as you care for them as you would any other fine equipment.
Please ship to the address below, freight prepaid and insured for your original purchase price in a disposable container. Include a copy of the original purchase receipt (International customers will be charged actual shipping and insurance costs, and will be responsible for all related customs and duty charges.) Please be sure to include your name, address, email, daytime phone number including area code and a short note describing the problem.

Should we decide to replace the damaged product, but no longer offer the exact model, we will provide you with the closest comparable model of equal value from our current product line. If after the first year or the defect is determined by our technicians to be due to normal wear and tear, accident, neglect or misuse, you will be contacted and a full estimate will be provided prior to any work being done. This warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the rod or reel and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damages resulting from the use of this product. This warranty does not cover fire, theft, loss, intentional breakage, modification or customization of the finished reel. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
The warranty is not transferable and is only good to the original owner. This warranty is the only warranty expressed or implied applicable to the Wright & McGill product. This warranty will be honored solely by the Wright & McGill Co.
